I recently saw ‘Kelly and the Sensations’ perform at As You Like It, Jesmond.
The dancefloor was full from beginning to end and they played so many of my favourites from Dolly Parton’s ’9 to 5′ to ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ to Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’.
The lead singer was a little ball of energy with a voice resembling Duffy. The rest of the band members were all excellent and they seemed to be having as great a time as we were!
We will definitely be keeping an eye out for them in the future. Well done!
